The impact of robotization on productivity of manufacturing firms in Russia

Goal: the aim of paper is to assess impact industrial robot imports on productivity Russian enterprises in manufacturing industry. Methodology: panel regression with random effects and least squares methods are used model data. The sample includes 81 794 industry that were active during postcrisis development economy 2011–2018. Findings: direct importers robots tend be larger more internationalized: they owned by foreigners export directly. In our study, we found have a positive both aggregate factor labour productivity. results suggest significant for non-leading enterprises, which typically internationalized (exporters foreign capital) import frequently.
